You get a minimalist score report compared to norms from a cited source about a standard survey measure of interest (to me, my research, my students, and/or my curiosity). Contextualized Gender Variation

The purpose of this research study is to improve our understanding of how people experience gender and improve the future assessment of gender in research. We are doing this study because we understand current measures do not reflect well the diversity of individual experiences. We recognize that in research, gender expression is assessed in terms of masculinity and femininity, which though extremely pervasive in our society, are still relatively binary. We hope to use this survey to understand how people experience gender across contexts, and to help us identify more expansive ways of assessing gender expression beyond masculinity and femininity alone.

Exploring Continuous Instrumentations of Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation

The purpose of this research study is to increase our understanding of how people identify and improve the future assessment of gender and sexual orientation in research. We are doing this study because we understand that current measures do not reflect the full diversity of identity. We recognize that in research, gender identity and sexual orientation are often assessed using checkboxes that require people to limit themselves to a single identity, often from a short list of only a few options. We understand that this does not capture the full range of identity and experience and does not allow people to fully and accurately convey their gender and sexual orientation. We hope to use this survey to gain more knowledge on how people understand their gender and sexual orientation, and to help us identify more nuanced and inclusive ways of assessing these identities beyond the limited measures commonly used today.
